Fescalas began as an idea shaped through more than a decade of hands-on work with wood. Years of practical experience made it possible to understand the material beyond surface appearance—how it moves, how it ages, and how it responds to use over time.

Fescalas didn’t grow overnight. Its development followed a clear, gradual path—shaped by experience, careful decisions, and a steady focus on quality rather than scale.

Fescalas products are made from carefully selected solid hardwoods, including maple and walnut. Each piece is chosen for durability, grain quality, and long-term performance, then finished with food-safe treatments suitable for everyday use.
Yes. Every Fescalas board is produced through a hands-on process in our workshop. While precision tools are used where necessary, shaping, finishing, and quality control are handled with close attention to detail rather than mass production methods.
To maintain your board, clean it with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed. Avoid soaking or placing it in a dishwasher. Periodic application of a food-safe wood oil will help preserve the surface and natural appearance over time.

Five years ago, this experience evolved into a dedicated workshop focused on precision, material quality, and controlled production. Growth was intentional. Tools improved, the workspace expanded, and processes were refined without compromising the standards that defined the work from the beginning.
